This is the 24th out of 26 Jack Reacher novels and it doesn’t disappoint.

Reacher is on a Greyhound bus, minding his own business, with no particular place to go, and all the time in the world to get there. After he steps up to help an old man who is a victim or random violence, he discovers so much more and sticks around to “make things right.”

Reacher finds himself embroiled in the middle of a turf war between rival Ukranian and Albanian gangs. Reacher is able to stay one step ahead of both gangs as he sets things straight for this elderly couple trying to do the right thing for their daughter’s cancer treatment.

Child takes the reader, better than anyone, into the mind of a highly trained assassin as he analyzes his “next move” in search of raw justice. For anyone who enjoys a gripping, suspenseful page turner, this is for you. On days I need motivation for a workout, picking up a Lee Child novel does the trick.
